FAQ
Questions people actually ask
- Is my appointment time the time my car will be finished?
- Only for waiting appointments. For a drop-off, the time you pick is when we take the vehicle in, not when it will be done. That depends on what we find and whether parts are on the shelf. You get a promise time once the vehicle is inspected, and the status updates as the work moves.
- What is the difference between waiting and dropping off?
- A waiting appointment is short work you stay for. You stay while we work, and we finish inside 2 hr. A drop-off means you leave the vehicle with us; we work it into the day and contact you as soon as we know what it needs.
- What is an early bird drop-off?
- You leave the vehicle with us before we open, from 07:00. Call or text to arrange it, and we will be in touch once we have looked at the car.
- Will you do work I have not approved?
- No. You receive an itemised estimate and approve or decline each job individually. Nothing else is touched. If we find something mid-repair, work stops and you get an updated estimate to approve.
- How does the digital inspection work?
- A technician works through a standard list (tires, brakes, battery, fluids, belts, hoses, lights, wipers, suspension, leaks, engine, transmission) and marks each item green, yellow or red with a measurement and photographs. You get a link to that report on your phone.
- Can I change or cancel my appointment?
- Yes, online, up to 24 hours before the appointment. Inside that window, call the shop and we will do our best to fit you in elsewhere.
- What do you work on?
- All makes and models, foreign and domestic.
- Can you come to me?
- Often, yes. We offer mobile service for a lot of jobs. Call or text with what the car needs and where it is, and we will tell you whether it can be done on-site.
- How do I pay?
- Cash, Zelle, or a debit or credit card at the shop.
